You can utilize the Over time by month option to show the profit and loss for the current and previous months. Here's how:
- In QBSE, go to the Reports menu to open the Reports window.
- Choose Over time by month from the drop-down menu next to Profit and loss.

- Click the View button.
- Use the arrow below the report to view the reports from the previous months.

Also, you can use the Custom date option to filter the report by month, then export/download it manually. Here's how:
- Go to the Reports menu to open the Reports page.
- Choose the Custom date from the drop-down menu next to Profit and loss.

- Enter the Start and End date. then click Apply.
- Click the View button.

- Select the Download beside the Print icon.
