How do i set up the option to automatically charge my customers a 3% convenience fee?

I do not believe our input as customers are valuable to QB. This thread has been asking for the same change since 2019 which clearly proves that. Our request is simple and you (QB) have acknowledged receipt of this request multiple times. We would like this feature to be added to help us small business people recoup the fees that large banks and credit institutions are charging us on every transaction. Other platforms offer this as a basic function. Specifically, the landscaping industry is constantly evolving and other platforms specific to our industry have also evolved to keep up and offer their customers this basic function as well as other usable tools.

 

We should not have to continually submit "feedback" for the same request as we've been doing here for YEARS. Furthermore, we believe your "developers" have gotten the message. Its a matter of QB making this very reasonable change to help us or not.

I have made this suggestion numerous times. I understand things take time, but…..

Also, I don’t want the charge on every invoice. I want to send my invoice with Labor, Materials, and taxes. BUT, when my customer opens the email and chooses to pay with a card, at that point QB would say, “You will be charged a convenience fee of 3.5%. Do you wish to continue”. Seems simple enough

I have made that suggestion multiple times. I don’t want to add it to every invoice. I want to send an invoice with Labor, materials, and taxes to a customer. If and only if they open the email and choose to pay with a card, at that point, QB will say “Younwill be charged a 3.5% convenience fee. Do you wish to proceed?” For now, I’ve created a line item and have to manually enter the amounts. But worse, I have stayed in that line item to please remove this amount from your total of paying with check. It’s a bit bothersome for my customers and a bit embarrassing for such a reputable accounting program.
