How do i stop QB from changing my settings?? To get your invoice paid faster, we removed PDFs from emails Customers can download the PDF when they go to pay the invoice.

sometimes i miss the pop up notice and my clients aren't receiving their invoices as an attached pdf...I go to setting and fix whenever i notice but what a hassle..

Let's work together and stop QuickBooks from changing your selected settings. When modifying the Online delivery option to the invoice, make sure to select Done after saving it.

 

If you miss selecting the Done button, the changes won't be saved. I've attached a screenshot below for your reference.

 

For the pop-up messages, clearing the browser's cache and cookies can help retrieve them. You can browse this article for the steps: Learn how to delete browser cache and Intuit-specific cookies when using QuickBooks Online.

 

You can then resend the invoice and record the payment once the customers pay what they owe. Check out these articles for instructions and detailed steps.

thanks but I have been saving.

which is why it is so perplexing that QB is randomly showing me that pop up message that "they changed my setting to allow faster payments",,,about once per week.

Which is extra strange as not including a pdf of invoice slows down payments not speeds them up but mostly just want my setting of including pdf invoices to stay as is.

Since saving and other options didn't work, I recommend contacting our Customer Support team for further assistance. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help icon in the top right-hand corner. 
  2. Press the Contact Us button. 
  3. Give a brief description and hit Let's talk
  4. Scroll down and pick to Get a callback
