How do you reset the default date for statements to current date using QB for MAC Desktop 2019

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @susu.

QuickBooks uses the system date format from your Mac system preferences. The first thing that you need to do is quit your QuickBooks account, then go to your Apple menu to change the default date.

Here's how:

  1. In the Apple menu, choose System preferences
  2. Click View, then pick the Date & Time.
  3. Enter the administrator name and password if the padlock at the bottom of the window is closed.
  4. Change the date and select Set Date & time automatically to set the date and time according to the one of Apple's Network Time Protocol( NTP) servers.
  5. Exit the system preferences then launch QuickBooks.

After that, check the statement date if the date changes. If this works,  QuickBooks used the updated date in any transactions moving forward.

However, if the problem persists, retrigger the process to save the current date.

How do you reset the default date for statements to current date using QB for MAC Desktop 2019

Thank you for your reply.  However, I tried this no less than four times and it still shows a different date.  Is it possible to change our company set up?  I wonder if I possibly set the "statement date" at the beginning when setting up our company and if so, is there a way to change what was initially set up?  Thank you again.
