Having the option to use a physical check for deposits would definitely make things easier for QuickBooks Checking account users.
However, this option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. You must deposit it into your external bank account and then transfer the funds to your QuickBooks Checking account. You can check out this article to learn how you can transfer money in and out of your QuickBooks Checking account: Use your QuickBooks Checking account.
In the meantime, I'd recommend providing feedback to our developers so that they can consider adding this option in the future.
Here's how:
Our Product Development team will receive and review your valuable feedback along with the other user requests. You can track those feature request in this page: QuickBooks Online Feature Request.
If you need more information about the QuickBooks Checking account or anything else, let us know by leaving a comment. I'm here to assist you at any time. Take care and have a wonderful week.
How do you accept a check into your personal account with a different name on it. My bank won’t take my business checks. The name of my business is not Acceptable to the my bank.
this doesn't sound right? In receive payments there's a place to enter bank info from your customers paper check, accounting and routing, phone number, then you check a box that says you have had customer either sign an ach deposit authorization or read it to them???
BUT HOW OR WHERE DO YOU GET THE FORM FOR CUSTOMER TO SIGN?
WHY DOESN'T QUICKBOOKS CHECKING ASSIST WITH THIS??
Thanks for joining the thread, @rthrasher.
For now, the link for accessing the Authorization form in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is still not working and leads to a generic home page for Learning and Support.
You can consider using a third-party app, as the Authorization form on the Sales Receipt and Receive Payment pages is no longer a valid link. You go to the Intuit App store and search for the relevant app.
In the meantime, I recommend contacting our Payments Support Team so you can get the help you need concerning your checking account. They may also provide an update about alternative locations to obtain the authorization form.
Please refer to this article for additional information on the different types of support we provide: QuickBooks Payments.
