How to get defects out of QOH?

I know how important it is to have the ability to keep track of your returns and defects. However, the option to do so is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop.

While this isn't available, I'd suggest submitting feedback to make the program better by going to Send Feedback Online on your QuickBooks Desktop.

Thanks for your response.

I submitted the suggestion again, which I have done many times in the past.  The bottom line is that QB w/ Advanced Inventory can't even tell me QOH.  Can the product fail worse than that as an inventory solution?  I've been asking for it for years, I won't hold my breath.

If anyone else can recommend 3rd party solutions, please do!

Rather, it would be great if you can check out the reviews instead to make it easier for you to decide. I have here the link where you can search for the app that basically has a feature of inventory solution: https://desktop.apps.com/home. I've added a screenshot for your reference: 

On the search bar, you can directly type the name of the application and search.
