Welcome aboard to the Community. I can share some insights about downloading your transactions in Quickbooks Online.
When you connect your bank into Quickbooks, the system downloads up to the last 90 days of transactions. If you need to fetch older items for your online banking, you have the option to upload them manually. All you need to do is download the data from your bank then map the transactions in the following supported formats or file types:
Once you have the bank file ready, you can now upload the file to your QuickBooks Online company. Here's how:
That should get you on the right track, @samidweekat. I've attached here an article to guide you with the process: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions?

My bank has statements in PDF, how can I convert them?
Hello, bb1207.
Welcome to the Community. I'm here to help share how you can upload your PDF bank statements to QBO.
At this time, QuickBooks Online can only support CSV, OFX, QFX, and Exel files when uploading bank statements. Since you can only download in PDF file, I'd suggest converting this to one of our supported file formats.
In order for you to import your data, your CSV file should contain the following information: Date, Description and Amount. Make sure to leave off leading zeros and format the date like this: M/D/YY, not like this: MM/DD/YY. For example, January 1, 2016 would be 1/1/16.
Once your file has the correct format, you can start with the importing process.
Let's try visiting the Intuit App Store to check if there are free converters compatible with QBO. If you can find a free app, you'll need to convert the statement and import the data into QBO. You can check out this article for the detailed steps on importing bank transactions: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
On the other hand, the ability to directly import PDF file to QuickBooks would be helpful for both you and your business. I’d be delighted to share these suggestions to our Product Engineers for consideration in future updates.
Please let me know how it goes. I'll be here to help if you have other questions about your bank statements. Have a good one.
hello there.
I have downloaded my bank statements to my computer directly from my online banking just like QB said but I cannot seem to be able to select the files that I would like to import to quickbooks
I hope you can help,
BG
Hello, BG246.
If you can't select the files you've downloaded from you're online banking, I have recommended troubleshooting steps. It might have something to do with a browser issue.
Storing a lot of files in the history folder can be the cause of the issue. This could be the reason are times we encounter unusual behavior in software like QuickBooks. As of now, these are our supported browsers:
Once you're in the Private / Incognito window, we'll need to log in to your account using it. If it works, you can clear the cache. This is to start your data fresh and help QuickBooks to work properly. Alternatively, you can use other supported browsers in QBO. It could be that the one you're currently working on has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.

downloading Capital One transactions from 01012020 to 10142020:
I download this range [cvs and qb files] and it is not actually downloading as I can't find the file, tho Cap1 says it did the download. I have to get this range into QBO, tho QB asked me to bring in all of 2020, it only brought in 10152020 to 01052021
Good to see you here, TheNonyanon.
I'll give details and steps on how you can import the downloaded transactions. When you connect your account to QuickBooks, it downloads the last 90 days of transactions. Some banks can go back as far as 24 months.
To find the CSV file, you'll want to click the Hamburger icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the browser you are using. Then, go to Downloads, find the file and click the Show in folder link.
Here's a sample screenshot for a visual reference:
Once you have the file, go back to your QuickBooks Online account and follow these steps to import the transactions:

Thanks, it actually worked, my iCloud storage was full 😊
