How to recategorize large volume entries at once.

Welcome aboard, @ggps1309. I can help you with re-assigning categories in bulk in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Yes, we can re-categorize banking transactions at the same time. This feature helps us save more time when making amendments to your transactions. If the transactions were added via bank feeds, you can undo them and then amend them under the Banking tab.

Here’s how:

1. On the left navigation pane, select Banking menu.
2. Click the Categorized tab.
3. Put a check mark on the transactions you want to undo.
4. Click the Undo button.
5. Go back to the For Review tab.
6. Select the Transactions that you want to edit at the same time.
7. Click the Update button and select the right Payee, Category/Account, and Customer.
8. Click Apply or Apply and accept.

If the transactions were already matched or added, you’ll have to categorize them manually. Otherwise, you’ll need to undo the transactions again to enable the option to re-categorize them in bulk to your preferred accounts.
