How to remove an estimate

Hi there, John180.

I'll guide you through how to delete an estimate in QuickBooks Online. Here's how:
1. In the navigation bar on the left, go to Sales, then open your All Sales tab.
2. Locate and click on the one that needs to be removed. Use the Filter button and/or other sorting options if necessary.
3. Hit More.
4. Select Delete.
5. Choose Yes.

The record will now be deleted from your books.

Here's a resource about using estimates which might come in handy: How to Send Estimates, Quotes, & Proposals

If you have any other questions, feel free to respond in this thread. I'll be here to help. Enjoy the rest of your day!

How to remove an estimate

How do you delete or change the status of pending estimates in bulk? It takes too long to go through hundreds of estimates manually to change the status to rejected or delete them.

How to remove an estimate

Hello there, steve47232.

The option to modify the status or delete the estimate in bulk isn't available. However, you can look for a third-party application that can do this one.

You can look for an app through this link: apps.intuit.com.

If you want to view all your customer's estimates, you can run the Estimates by Customer report. Then, you can click the Customize button to add or remove some filters.

I'm just a post-away if there's anything that I can help with. Take care!

Yes, you can definitely do that, Erikaestrada.

Estimates are non-posting transactions that do not impact your bank and income accounts. Removing them won't affect your reconciliation. Feel free to follow the steps I've below:

  1. Go to the Sales menu.
  2. Select the All Sales tab, then find the rejected estimate.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow in the Action column.
  4. Choose Delete, then hit Yes to confirm the changes.
