Thank you for connecting with the QuickBooks Community. QuickBooks Online (QBO) relies on the information your bank shares with us. Therefore, QBO doesn't have direct control over what's imported and shown in your transactions' Description field.
As an alternative, you can update the details in the Memo section for each transaction. This feature allows you to add or change information that can provide additional context or clarity regarding the transaction.
Here's how:
- In your left panel, click Transactions.
- Go to Bank Transactions.
- Choose the transactions you want to change.
- Select Memo, and then modify it.
- Click Confirm.
