I'll share with you the two options to see the details of balances in the program, @info760.
If you're on the report screen, you can click the amount in the Balance column. The transaction window opens so you can review its details. See the screenshot below for your visual reference.
You can always visit this website: Run Reports. You'll find steps on how to set up general report preferences, customize, print, email, and export them.
If you want to see the account's current balance and its histories, I'd suggest going to the account register. This lets you get a detailed and transaction-level history of the account. Here's how:
- Go to Accounting from the left menu.
- Select Chart of Accounts.
- Locate your account.
- Click View register from the Action column.

Aside from viewing your account details, you can also edit, delete, or void transactions from the account register. I recommend reviewing your register regularly. This way, it helps you easily reconcile your account in the future.
