I am a Quickbooks Online user, and a year ago subscribed to the Online Bill Pay service. I am still getting billed monthly charges, but is this now free?

Intuit has posted that the Online Bill Pay service is now offered free to existing subscribers, but how do I avoid my current monthly Online Bill Pay charges and use it for free? Do I cancel my subscription in Settings? Is the free service different? I've been on the phone with Quickbooks Tech Support, and they are absolutely clueless on this - spent all afternoon on the phone with them but received no answer, just got shuffled from agent to agent like a hot potato.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. QuickBooks Bill Pay service for free for your first month. Your free one-month trial includes 20 payments. Additional sets of 10 payments will be billed at $6.95 per set. After your free trial, you will be charged $15.95 for up to 20 payments a month and $6.95 for each additional set of 10 payments.

Can you cancel your QBP service? You may open a separate Melio account for free and pay your bills for free also to integrate with your QBO.

Got it - thanks. That was the answer I was looking for. Hopefully the phone support folks can get this same information. There seems to be a void in the their Online Bill Pay knowledge base - perhaps just has not been integrated post-acquisition. Anyway, much appreciated - thanks!
