Thanks this is close to what I need but not the same.
My scenario is I just made an invoice. As I am looking at that invoice I want to immediately make a copy. In other words I don't want to have to go click on sales, etc.
Before at the bottom of the page there was an option to make a copy on the same page as the current invoice I was viewing. Thanks
I can provide an easier way for you to make a copy of your invoices in the new template in QuickBooks Online (QBO), mattstas1234.
When creating a new invoice, you can copy it directly from the Invoice page. Let me show you how.

You may also make a copy of existing invoices from the Invoice page. Here's how:
Additionally, once a customer pays an invoice, it should be recorded as invoice payment. Doing so would help you link the amount to your customer's balance and mark it as paid. This process also ensures you'll have balanced accounts.

when I create and save a new invoice the "action" button does not show up on the page

To utilize the action drop-down list and immediately make a copy of the current invoice, click the Save button first to allow you to copy the current invoice you're working on. I can further assist you in accomplishing this in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

ok I see it now. The action button is not on the main screen. On my screen (which does not look like the one in the video). I have to click manage which is on the right side of the screen not the left and then the action button is visible. Thanks for your help.
