I want to make sure you get the report you need in QuickBooks Desktop.
In addition to QBsguru's answer, we can customize a Transaction Detail report to show your sales transactions per customer. Let me show you how:
- Go to the Reports tab.
- Click Custom Reports.
- Choose Transaction Detail.
- On the Display tab, edit the report date in the From and To fields.
- Go to the Filters tab.
- On the filters, select Transaction Type then choose Multiple Transaction Types. Mark the items you want to see on the report. (Please see screenshot.)
- Click OK twice.
- On the Total By drop-down, select Customer. (See screenshot.)

You'll want to edit the Page Display view on your PDF file, hkh.
Once you're done following the steps above to create the report, click on Print drop down and choose Save as PDF.
To create a page breaker:
- Click on the View tab while the file is open.
- Hover your mouse to Page Display.
- Then, select Enable Scrolling.
