Buy nowI hate it too!!!! If we didn't need to share with my office manager we would never leave the desktop version. So much easier to use - and I hate the new report format and always have to switch to classic view.
Not sure who did your usability study - but they should be fired.
Why don't you switching back to Desktop?
I would join your lawsuit

Totally understand where you’re coming from a lot of people miss GoDaddy Bookkeeping because it let you handle simple cleanup and bulk edits without fighting menus.
I’ve been working on a small app called ReconcileBook that focuses on those exact pain points bulk deleting, duplicate cleanup, and simpler reconciliation before sending data into QuickBooks or Excel.
It’s still growing, but it’s been helpful for bookkeepers who want to tidy transactions faster.
QB left a voicemail re renewing my subscription and so I returned the call only to learn that the fee had gone up from $500 to $900! Context: I've been a single user who bought into QB about 25 years ago. Other than upgrading to newer releases and incremental charges, that all changed 2 years ago when I found myself unceremoniously locked out of my company and essentially held hostage until I forked over $500... this a new extortion plan they'd developed for shareholders. What do you do? Call 911 "robbery in process" or do you pay? I paid. Fast forward to this past week... the new price is $900!!! I explain I'm a one man band, only use it for tracking expenses etc., he lowers it to $600 spends 10 minutes doing an interview... as if I was applying for a VISA... then closes with "an agent will confirm with you within 72 hours." Confirm what? I ask. Your purchase, he replies. Well... no one calls back but in the interim, several days later I attempt to update a few things but... FIND MYSELF LOCKED OUT!!!! I call, get the usual apologies, am assured $600 will be honored but Rashid has to approve something... well Rashid required remote access to my computer! I had to leave for a meeting, returning the screen says "Ready to go... just complete the purchase... " FOR $1,703.00 DOLLARS !!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT??? Unless you use it regularly it's already a very complicated package to use but as noted earlier, I bought in 25 years ago so have just dealt with it but... $1,703.00????? So I dial back to the "Sr. Whatever" who promised $600... he gives me an 800# for a higher authority... somewhere in the Philipines... who accomplishes nothing except bolsters my blood pressure... she transfers me to sales... back to India. That rep sticks to the $1,703.00. Of course he does... he's a sales rep. I'm through... time to find an easier system to transfer my data to.
Hmmmmmmmm.... prior to replying with a question... do people read the entire post or just skip to... their question? I clearly stated: "I'm a one man band, only use it for tracking expenses etc." so that covers it. I am one person; no payroll; no other users; ONLY USE IT FOR TRACKING EXPENSES;
Please don't trouble me with silver this or that versions... as if I know the entire recipe's of pizza's they're offering.
My work could've easily been set up on an excell spreadsheet 25 yrs ago but my accountant, the one that does my taxes used QB. He doesn't anymore because it got to be too cumbersome.
Read my complaint... again... this time in it's entirety. I clearly state that I am one person and that I only use QB for tracking my personal expenses. Now then... don't complicate things. No payroll, no employees, no moon launches, nada. Research "personal expenses." They would include travel, travel expenses, entertainment etc.
This board is about as challenging as QB itself... I've submitted 2x replies, the second because I can't find the first, the third because I can't find the second. But in sum: re-read my post... I answer your questions there... exception I'm attemping to renew QB Pro 2023... or should I say was attempting to renew. Per my post, just me, no payrolls, nothing except maintaining my own personal business expenses... and for that they expect $1,703.00? Out of their minds.
