I have 1 invoice for multiple location. How can I allocate it to different location when I enter the invoice?

Thanks for your reply.  It good, it does work and gets you to the end result, just not streamline.   There are several work arounds; but hope Intuit fixes this so you can split to locations just as you can split classes on the invoice level without having do do multiple transactions.

Thank you,

This post is almost 6 years old. Still, this has not been fixed. I've worked with many software developers. This is not a difficult fix. Certainly not something that should take this long.

This issue is the reason we are demoing Xero. We are a not for profit, so we use Class to track functional expenses to produce our Statement of Activity by Functional Expense as required by FASB. This also makes completing our annual Form 990 much easier.

We intended to use Location to track the different departments for budget purposes. And key expenses such as legal fees are often on one AP invoice yet split among departments.

I fully agree; it's not a major fix, and it would make QBO much more relevant to many clients.

Disappointed it's taken this long, and still no movement.

I'm moving back to Xero; at least they come out with fixes and changes when requested.
