I have categorised my services, but it's still asking "Make sure all items in your file are exactly as they appear in QuickBooks, including category and subcategory"?

Let's use a private browser or incognito as an initial steps to isolate this message prompt. Since this type of browser doesn't keep files in its cache, its a good place to know if the issue is caused by a browser.

 

Feel free to use the following keyboard shortcuts for your reference:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N  
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

If it works on a private browser, please go back to the regular browser and clear the cache to start fresh. Otherwise, you can try using other supported browser.

 

If the issue persist, please contact our QuickBooks Care Support so they can conduct further investigation. Below are the instructions on how you can reach them:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern.
  4. Click Let’s talk.
  5. Choose Get a callback
  6. Type in your contact info.
  7. Select Confirm my call.
