I have several contractors that I have to track W-9s with. In "Pay Contractors" the screen lags so bad it takes 15-30 seconds each click or tab. How can I fix this?

I click the Pay Contractors button from within Payroll > Contractors. The screen loads after a few seconds, but then just stops. Easily 15-30 second anytime I click or hit the tab button to move or select anything. It's taking up to 3+ minutes to get one contractor set to pay, much longer when I want to do multiple ones in one batch. I don't know how to fix it. I've even tried to do this on my gaming PC from home and still the same result. Does anyone know how to get this resolved?

Different factors can affect your experience when using QuickBooks Online (QBO) to manage contractors or whenever you perform tasks inside it. If your computer or device meets the system requirements needed to use the program, you'll want to review your internet bandwidth and check if there are changes. For the past couple weeks, Quickbooks online with contractors is not usable. It's slow and the screen freezes. I have a MAC desktop and use Chrome.

 

We pay at least 50+ contractors every month and I can't pay them when Quickbooks is freezing up. I called, and got this case number: 15118565509. I was essentially told QB is aware of the issue but no timeframe to fix it. Here is what I have to say, if you can't get this fixed and fixed yesterday, I am going to go with different software. I don't want desktop software, I use online. QB keeps going up on their cost and then what we get isn't usable. Thanks.
