I just printed 159 recurring invoices. They look totally different than the invoice templates in my Custom Form Styles. I need to remove the "ship to" portion. How?

I guess the actual look of the invoice isn't a huge deal even though I wonder why they don't print like they show on my Custom Form Styles.  But what I definitely need is to remove the "ship to" portion on the invoices.  Everything I read tells me to uncheck the box by shipping, and it already is unchecked.

I just printed 159 recurring invoices. They look totally different than the invoice templates in my Custom Form Styles. I need to remove the "ship to" portion. How?

I'll share details and fixes about managing and publishing the recurring invoices you've created in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Morrison

Recurring transactions follow the standard form template of the application. So if you have created your design of templates for your invoices, this explains why they differ from each other.

Concerning Ship to address in printing them, you're right that the other way we can eliminate the option is to uncheck this from your form style. Before that, make sure you're making the changes to your standard template. This way, transactions produced using this template won't show the shipping address. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Style.
  2. Select your Standard template and click Edit.
  3. Navigate to the Content tab, and click the Header portion of the form.
  4. Scroll down to the Display section and uncheck the Shipping box.
  5. Then, hit Done to save changes.

You can also toggle off the Ship to option directly from your invoice window. I'll show you how:

  1. Open your Invoice transaction, and click the Manage icon.
  2. In the Customization dropdown, switch off the Ship to option.
  3. You can also apply your preferred form style by drilling down the Design dropdown.
  4. From there, select the template you want to apply to the invoice. Please take note that these invoices were sent using the standard template.
  5. You can review how it looks by selecting Print and Download.

If the issue persists, we can perform a troubleshooting step that would help eliminate common browser-related issues such as the malfunctionality of the button, or incorrect display of the data.

Let's start by accessing your company file using a private browser and re-perform the steps I've outlined above. After that, log back to your normal browser and clear its cache or cookies to avoid similar issues in the future. Alternatively, opting for one of the browsers that are supported can also be a wise decision.

Additionally, you can start recording your invoice payments once your customer decides to pay. Keeping this as a practice will keep your financial records accurate.
