I need some vendors to fill out a W-9, but their address is not in the USA. (even though they are US citizens) how do they can they fill it out?

I need some vendors to fill out a W-9, but their address is not in the USA. (even though they are US citizens) how do they can they fill it out?

Let me step in and share some info about filling out your W-9, @racheli-binyamin.

 

You cannot invite your vendors with a non-US address in QuickBooks since this isn't an available feature yet. However, you can let them manually fill out the W-9 form to add it to your account.

 

If ever you need assistance in inviting a contractor in your QuickBooks Online account, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Workers or Payroll tab.
  3. Select Contractors.
  4. Click the Add a Contractors.
  5. In the field, enter the contractor's name and email address.
  6. Hit Add contractor.

 

QuickBooks will send an email to your contractor in real-time. Also, the contractor's profile will be saved in both the Contractors tab and Vendors tab.
