In Quickbooks Desktop only:
-Open Customer:Job list
-Re-sort list by right-clicking on the list and selecting Re-sort List from the pop-up menu
-Click on the bullet of the client you want to become a job and slide it slightly to the right. BOOM - It magically becomes a job.
-Hold the bullet of the new job and drag it under the chosen parent customer.
How idiodic. This program is made like a video game. Am I supposed to get all excited that I discovered how to do this??? This functionality should be clearly stated in one of the menus. Just stupid beyond comprehension. If you know of a better accounting software please let me know.

Trying to add a job to a customer, I don't see what you are talking about. it doesn't make sense

This can be done in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac by turning on 'Enable Customer Ordering' in the Options circle at the bottom. Then drag and drop Customers into others to make them a job. Turn off after use.
