If it's your first time processing with a QuickBooks Payments account, the initial set of batches will be delayed for up to five business days while Intuit conducts a review on them. If there's anything our research team needs from you, we'll contact your business by email. This delay is a one time experience on new merchant accounts, so you won't see it occurring each time a customer pays.
There's also periodic reviews which are done across all businesses that process with us. If one of these occurs on your account, we'll send an electronic communication to notify you of what's going on. Usually when this happens, there's personal and/or business documents we may need from you. The correspondence will detail what's needed to move forward.
