I use QB Online essential. Within the last week if multi users are logged in no one can save the invoices they are working on until everyone logs out.

We are not working on the same invoices at the same time.

To begin with, please know that in a multi-user setting, you can save invoices seamlessly as long as each user is working on different invoices for different customers.

 

If no one can save their invoices despite working on distinct documents, let’s take some troubleshooting measures to check if the issue is related to your browser.

 

We can start by accessing QBO in your browser’s incognito or private browsing mode. This can help determine if an outdated cache is causing the issue. Depending on the browser you’re using, you can utilize the following keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you're able to save the invoice, please proceed to clear your browser's cache for a fresh start. Additionally, I recommended using other devices and supported browsers to check if you can save the invoice.
