Why are invoices listed on the Estimate Summary not in numerical order? They seem to be random.

I'll take that by Estimate Summary report, you mean Estimates & Progress Invoicing Summary by Customer report, dawnjohnson.

Being able to pull up the said report in numerical order is a great option. I'm here to share more information about it.

The mentioned report is arranged by customer name. Though you can sort it into ascending or descending order, the arrangement will be grouped.

I'm sorry I was not clear.  I was referring to the Estimate Summary that is included on each invoice I send to clients.

I can provide some clarifications about the order of the Estimate Summary on the invoice, dawnjohnson.

Right now, the Estimate Summary not in numerical order is working as designed. While we're unable to change it, you can send feedback to our Product Engineers. They're continuously discovering new ways to adapt to our customers’ needs. 

Here are the steps you can follow.

1. Click the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
3. Select Next to submit feedback.

Your feedback helps our Product Development team determine which feature will be implemented in the next future update. You can track product requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

Thanks for your response.  I'm not sure I understand "the Estimate Summary not in numerical order is working as design"?  It looks randomly generated.  I don't see a rhyme or reason?  Thanks for you help!

I will certainly leave feedback.  I have some projects that have over 15 invoices.  Super confusing when looking through the list.  Makes no sense to me.

The Estimate Summary is designed by our Product Development team as it is in QuickBooks Online. We're unable to modify it to have all the transactions listed in numerical order.
