I’d love to but I didn’t actually do it. A QB rep on the phone earlier did, in a misunderstanding of what I was trying to accomplish. Sorry I’m not more help but desperate to figure this out!

Cases like this, we need to override the sales tax rate in an invoice. You can only customize sales tax, upon creating and this is done every time you create a new transaction. Just open your invoice and click the See the math link to edit or change the sales tax rate.
