Agree 100%, it used to be a drop down menu on the invoice screen. Now you have to make sure you click the "SEE HOW THE MATH IS CALUCLATED" button to make sure you are charging the correct tax. I have one tax for sales, another for rental and several others for tax exemption and it's EXTREMELY easy for my guys to miss this critical step, resulting in us charging incorrect taxes.
Might not be a big deal to Intuits programmers, but Intuits programmers are not business people and have no clue what their customers needs are, but they incorrectly believe they know best. This new interface is so poorly thought out. We are now considering switching to Frazer.

You'll still be able to charge your taxable customers by going to their tax profiles. Then, if you need to adjust the tax rate when generating the invoice, simply select "See the math" and then choose a different tax rate.
I understand that in the old layout, you could easily select the tax rate, without selecting the see the math option.
