Hello there.
In QuickBooks Desktop, two ways to import your credit card statements are using Direct Connect and Web Connect. Direct Connect allows you to download your bank transactions to QuickBooks automatically. Web Connect is a manual way to import your transactions into QBDT.
Regardless of what method you're using, both methods will need to go through Bank Feeds. If you don't have the Bank Feeds option available, you can consider using third-party apps to import your credit card statements into your QuickBooks Desktop.
You can also learn how to set up your bank accounts for Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop so you can download your bank transactions automatically.
Please leave a reply below if you have additional questions about importing credit card statements in QuickBooks Desktop. I'd gladly assist you anytime.
Which QB Desktop year version do you have? 2020 or newer?
QB 2024. Doesn't matter. Still can't import transactions using simple .csv files. It's ridiculous. We pay good money on subscription basis now, and simple functionality is missing in desktop version.
If you don't want to use the importer tool to work with QBD Pro/Premier, the feature is available in QBD Accountant and Enterprise. You can purchase a new license through partners to get a perpetual discount for renewals.
Hi there, @AdvocateOne.
I'd recommend getting in touch with our customer care team. In this manner, a representative can go into your account in a secure setting and look into this matter.
Here's how:
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you've got other inquiries, such as invoices and banking. I'm just one post away.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I've tried. If Intuit truly cared about this issue, they would just fix it, rather than suggest we contact "customer care" who really care, but have no ability to fix the issue.
LOL
