Allow me to share some details regarding the option to link bills to a customer in QuickBooks Online.
What @4Gal mentioned is correct. In QuickBooks Online Simple Start, the option to record or create bills isn't available. It is designed for simple businesses that don't need to enter and track bills for the vendor.
