In the new view I can use the print packing slip function from the customer and leads tab, but it loads an invoice. Doesn't change the text field to "packing slip"?

Editing the text field in your packing slip would be awesome, dan-precisionh2o.
 

As of now, this option isn't available in QuickBooks Online. As a workaround, I'd suggest creating a new custom form style and renaming it Packing Slip. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Custom form styles.
2. Choose Invoice from the New style drop-down.
3. Select the Content tab.
4. Change the Form names to Packing Slip under the Form section.
5. Click Done to save it.

1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
4. From the drop-down menu, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.

I tried to use this workaround and did not have any success.  I have simply reverted to the old view till QB gets more of the bugs worked out.
