Invoice delivery issue

Same here, someone on another forum said the following:

Chat on Quickbooks says its a system wide issue they are working to fix. Invoices that have been sent SHOULD go out on a delay once the issue is resolved. They were unable to give me an estimated time of the resolve. They did say they have found the route of the problem and are working diligently.

Invoice delivery issue

Hello there, @eaglecarpetclean.

We're aware that some QuickBooks Online (QBO) users are currently having a problem sending invoices to their customers. Our engineers are working to fix it as soon as possible.

As a workaround, you can download the invoices as a PDF and attach them to an email outside QBO. Please know that if you opt for this workaround, you'll need to manually apply the payment to the invoice once you receive it from your customer.

We’ll share updates as soon as we learn more. You may also check for updates on your end from time to time through this link: https://status.quickbooks.intuit.com/

Thank you for your understanding while we're working on a fix.

Invoice delivery issue

We'd really want to have this sorted so you can send out your invoices, wol1.

I checked the status of the investigation and I can see that it's still open. This means that our engineers are still working to resolve the error when emailing invoices.

We also need to add you to the list of affected users. This is for us to send email notifications as soon as the issue is resolved. Here's how to reach out to them:

  1. Go to the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner to open the QB Assistant window.
  2. Type in "talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Click Contact Support Team, then let them know that you are getting an error when sending invoices..
  4. Press Enter once again.
  5. Select No, I still need help, then choose Contact Support Team.
  6. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you.

In the meantime, you'll want to use the Share invoice link feature to send the transaction to your customers. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and proceed to the Invoices tab.
  2. Look for the invoice that you want to send.
  3. Click the drop-down list beside Receive payment, then select Share invoice link.
  4. Select Copy link.

Once done, you can now send the link via chat or email outside of QBO. Allow me to give you a couple more articles for additional and information:

Tag me in your reply if you have follow-up questions. You can also drop by anytime you need more help when working in QBO.

Invoice delivery issue

Its May 20th now - and you have been having this problem for months now? and still no solution?

Your work around is basically "don't use our system" the fact you have not solved such a critical feature of your system in so many months is insane.

It worked for 48 hours, and then poof, it no longer worked. And now never works. really unbelievable. You guys need to restructure your company if your team is unable to solve such an issue in several months.
