I'm using QBO and I look at the Invoices | Overview Charts almost daily to see how much I've invoiced over a period of time (normally monthly and quarterly), as it gives me a good idea on how I'm doing for that fiscal period as well as forecasting cashflow (invoices paid).
However, several weeks ago, there was an update and I can no longer see a chart by quarter. And it is now showing me how much I've been paid (which is also good), but no longer shows how much I've invoiced for that period of time. Did I miss something or did this functionality (invoicing charts) get moved somewhere else?
It's good to see you here in the Community, @WarrenGChase.
The update on the Sales Overview chart just added more information and didn't remove any details or options. Thus, you can still see the chart by quarter. You'll just need to make sure you select the quarter from the Duration drop-down. I'll attach a screenshot below for your visual reference.
However, if you don't have the option to select a duration on the chart, it's possible that the browser you're using had a data issue. To verify, let's log in to your QBO account using a private browser. To do so, you can press this shortcut key on your keyboard:
If this works, they need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If they get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.
Come back to this post and let me know how it goes, @WarrenGChase. I'll be around to provide more assistance.

Wishing you all the best!
@Mark_R ,
Thanks for the quick reply. I double checked this morning and I realized I didn't explain the difference in how I remember it working and what I'm seeing now. What I used to do (and still looking to do) is see This Year and Last Year in the duration <-- All good there, I see them. And be able to see it by Month and Quarter. By default, when selecting This Year (or Last Year), it shows by Month....but not Quarter.
Moreover, and maybe it's me, but I swear the Invoicing Overview used to show Amount Invoiced (by Month & Quarter) instead of Amount Received (Income). The reason I think so is that I used to watch that value go up every time I created a new Invoice.
Thanks for getting back with the Community, WarrenGChase.
I can certainly understand how an ability to see data separated by quarter when selecting This Year or Last year on your Income Over Time chart could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.
You can also submit your own feedback to our Product Development team about any changes that may've been made recently.
Here's how:
Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates.
As far as what the Income Over Time chart is and how it works, it displays an overview of all your income recorded in QuickBooks. This includes paid invoices and receipts.
You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.
If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a wonderful day!
The Overview chart has changed. It used to display income from "Products and services," and now it does not. This means I have an incorrect and unclear picture of my sales revenue, because only invoice income is displayed now-- and no product income is displayed.
