Is anyone else loosing valuable time educating themselves on the new role out this week? All my Invoices/Estimates/paperwork for my customers and myself has changed.

Any tips on how to manage during a busy season for the business?

Of course. We've also lost valuable time over the past few months begging Quickbooks not to force these invoice changes because it was clear they were going to break the functionality of the product and completely disrupt our workflow.

They did it anyway.

There is no simple solution to "learn" the new invoicing, because it's not just different it's broken. Essential features have been outright removed with no plans to be reimplemented, so don't hold your breath.

I'm not sure what customer pool Quickbooks is trying to draw with these changes, but it's not us.

It's time to look into actual functional software programs like Xero, Netsuite, or Freshbooks. They are cheaper too.

Based on this forum, in about 100 different ways. What were they thinking? Do they just not understand how to update and test their own code and application?

They know how to test their code; they update it out and let you test it.

Would hate to switch away from QB, but if they aren't planning on fixing this there may be no other option.
