Is it possible to customize Simple Start so it will not include payroll, sales, vendors? I am simply using it for our family financials, no business. Thank you.

You cannot remove vendors, tgat would be who you pay , heat light mortgage car payment groceries, etc.

Sales is the only way to track your income.

Payroll is null unless you buy into it.

QBO is designed for business not personal. If you want to keep track of your personal household save your money and get intuit's FREE program called Mint, although be prepared to connect all of your bank and credit card accounts as you can not even start to use it without connecting accounts (which turned me off right away)

If you want a personal finance program that does not require bank connections you will have to pay for one. such as Quicken , which is no longer owned by intuit
