The fact that 2 lines of basic text cannot simply be removed from this template is a stunning lack of basic consideration by Intuit.
I'm sure I'm not the only disappointed customer who is looking at QBO alternatives, from companies who value their customers.
These types of basic shortcomings are all over the place in QBO. For example, no "quantity total" field for purchase orders, estimates, invoices? A feature which amazingly has been missing for the entire history of QuickBooks.
Making these ultra basic changes would take no more than an hour of a decent programmer's time. However it seems that Intuit is interested only in profit and user data (AKA more profit). Do better, Intuit.
The only work- around I have found is that I don't use the send feature for estimates and POs direct out of Quickbooks.
I know in Chrome... when I go to print and get a pop- up screen to print, I go to "Open PDF and Preview" and I can use the edit feature in preview to insert a white box over the signature blocks and then Save/Export the PDF from preview.
I know it is not ideal, but it does work and only takes an extra 60 seconds to make the edit, save, download, and upload into an e-mail to the customer/vendor.
Why can you not customize your purchase orders or even upload a new template called purchase orders ?
This post is like 3 years old. And the simple change like removing the 2 lines is not even addressed, let alone the more complex feedback. So disappointed.
I cancelled my subscription as the customer support was so bad...there are many other solutions out there to suffer with this extreme lack.

Ya, it is absolutely pathetic for something so simple not to be done when so many people are asking for it. QBO you suck.
