Is there a way to reverse a PAID invoice to UNPAID?

I can certainly understand how an ability to reverse a paid invoice to an unpaid status could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.
 

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. In the left navigation bar, go to Invoices.
  2. Click an invoice's Edit option.
  3. Use your Feedback option.
  4. Enter any feature requests/feedback in the What did you think? text box.
  5. If necessary, you can attach an image file.
  6. Hit Next.
  7. Enter your email address.
  8. Select Done.

 

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.
 

If an invoice was marked as paid in error, you can choose to delete it if necessary. Afterwards, you can re-create it in an unpaid status.
