Is there a way to set QuickBooks Online to open in Desktop View by default, rather than having to hit the toggle switch every time?

I know how convenient it is to access QuickBooks Online in a desktop view on your mobile phone. And I'll assist you in accomplishing this so you don't have to switch whenever you want to access your account via mobile. 

 

Depending on your browser, you can set the desktop view to be on by default.

 

Here's how for Chrome: 

 

  1. Open the Chrome menu by tapping the three-dots icon on the top-right corner.
  2. Select the Settings tab, then Site settings. 
  3. Choose the Desktop site button. 
  4. Turn on the radio button in the Request the mobile view of sites.

 

 

For Safari: 

 

  1. Open Safari Browser on iPhone/iPad.
  2. Next, Open Website where you request a desktop view for all time.
  3. Tap on the AA button next to the URL on the Address bar.
  4. Tap on Request Desktop Website toggle to green.

 

 

For other browser steps, please search online. You can type something like How to Always Get Desktop Versions of Websites on (browser name).

Thank you for specifying what you were using to access your QuickBooks Online account. 

 

The only way to perform this action is by toggling the switch. However, I recommend submitting feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider improving this setting.

You can also track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
