Is there an option to have customers price list?

Let me share some details about customizing price lists in QuickBooks Online (QBO), HKS2019.

In QBO, we can set pricing rules for specific products and services where you can offer discounts or charge different rates by item. The Price Rules is still on Beta pace which means only selected customers can turn it on. This option is unavailable in QBO Simple Start and Essentials. To utilize this, let's turn it on first by following the instructions below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Sales tab.
  4. In the Products and services section, select Edit ✎.
  5. Select the Turn on price rules Beta checkmark.
  6. Click Save and then Done.

After that, we can create a price rule by following the steps outlined below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon again and select All lists.
  2. Choose Price Rules and enter a unique name in the box.
  3. In the Product and services drop-down, pick All inventory.
  4. Pick Percentage in the Price adjustment method field.
  5. Select Increase by and enter the % amount in the Percentage field.
  6. Pick a Start and End date, then click Apply rule.
  7. Hit Save and close.

For more knowledge about this feature, check out this link: Set price rules in QuickBooks Online. Additionally, I've included an article about adding a discount to your customer. This helps you ensure all the transactions are recorded accurately in QuickBooks: Add a Discount To an Invoice or Sales Receipt.

I'll always be around any time you need additional assistance managing pricing in your account. Just let me know in the comments below and I'll make sure to provide further help. You have a good one.

@HKS2019@RCV may have already answered your question. If not, then at this time there wouldn't be a solution for you within QBO. You would need an alternate app to handle this for you.

Consider having an inventory management app with B2B portal feature to integrate with QBO.

Is there an option to have customers price list?

Thank you for your reply.

I'm looking for a solution in the QB, not by other app.

Do you know of any solution?

Is there an option to have customers price list?

I use QBO Pure and there is no such option in the menu as you describe in your solution.  Why would that be if you have specificically advised the steps available and to be followed in QBO?

  1. Select the Turn on price rules Beta checkmark.

Is there a way to import the special pricing for customers rather than do it one by one?

I value your desire to simplify your financial management process, Pgb2023. While importing custom pricing tied to individual customers is unsupported in QuickBooks Online, I know an alternative solution you could consider to save you time. Let's begin so you can return to focusing on growing your business.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can use third-party apps that offer advanced importing capabilities, specifically for customer-specific pricing. Here's how to explore those apps:

  1. From the Apps menu, choose Find apps.
  2. On the Search tab, key in some keywords.
  3. Select Browse categories or Browse industries, depending on your preferences.
  4. Choose and review the app information.
  5. Once you've chosen an application, click Get app now.

Additionally, I recommend checking the app's Reviews section for valuable insights into customer feedback and experiences. Reading these reviews will give you insight into how other users have interacted with the app.

You could also explore third-party applications through our QuickBooks App Store and navigate to the CATEGORIES section to select an app that best suits your needs.

Moreover, I've included these valuable articles on handling third-party app integrations within the program:

To further enhance your experience with QBO, consider exploring QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted. This innovative service connects you with QuickBooks-certified experts who provide personalized guidance tailored to your needs, particularly in handling sales processing entries.
