In case your company is linked to e-services, you may need to turn this off before updating your legal business name. After updating the info, please turn it on again and send us a new authorization form.

If you're not using any e-services feature, I'd suggest logging in to your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This could be a browser-related issue. The stored cache can affect the performance of QuickBooks Online, which can cause unexpected behavior.

Once signed, update the company name. If you're able to do so, let's clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored cache to ensure QuickBooks perform efficiently.
If private browsing doesn't work, I'd recommend using different browsers. They'll provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

I am having the same issue. How do I turn off e-services. I have followed the instructions above and still having trouble.
