Join nowI am wishing to generate a report to see when the last transaction was per customer. I have tried many different reports, but I only need one date per customer, and cannot do it in a date range as some of them go back over a year (some clients I only see once a year). Basically I want to know who I need to call to remind them to book appointments, who is overdue for appointments, and who I should make inactive.
Thank you
Hi there, Pawsitivity.
For now, we don't have a specific report that will tell us when was the last time a transaction was created for all customers. Although, there's a workaround on how to check when the last invoice or sales receipt was made. Here's how:
Then, follow the same steps for the rest of the customers.

Thank you for your reply. I was hoping to be able to get a report for all clients as I have a excel spreadsheet that I utilize to know when to put reminders into my calendar. Much easier than trying to count days, weeks or months. I will continue with my current reporting system (transaction list by customer) which is not overly efficient, but better than it used to be.
As you've found there is no report in QuickBooks that will do this.
However you can get such a report using our BRC List Reporter
