Hi @TKrawford.
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community.
To make sure you get the help you need, may I know how you want to manipulate the data in Profit and Loss reports? Are you using a reporting tool to integrate with QuickBooks Online? In addition, are you referring to the column headers or categories used in QuickBooks Online's profit and loss reports?

I replied to your post the same day it was posted, but I don't see my reply. I want to export information from the profit and loss reports. I want to export cash on hand and account receivable information. I've plan to import that into Salesforce. I need to know the mappings to import that information from QuickBooks online.
Hello there, @TKrawford.
I'll make sure you can export the information you need from the profit and loss report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and complete your task accordingly.
To export the data (Cash on hand and Accounts Receivable information) you need, let's run and customize the Profit and Loss report. Go to the Reports menu's Standard tab to complete this process. Here's how:
Once you're done. select the Export icon above the report's table and choose the Export to Excel option to download your data from QBO. Please see this article for the complete guide: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.
Furthermore, you'll want to reach out to the Salesforce support to know the mappings when importing the information you've exported from QBO.
Also, you may want to check out this article as your guide in learning ways to customize (financial) reports that fit your needs: Common custom reports in QuickBooks Online.
If you have further questions or concerns about exporting data from QBO, don't hesitate to drop a comment below. I'm always ready to help. Take care, @TKrawford.
I need the column names for account receivable and cash on hand. So I can map those field names in Salesforce. I tried using QuickBooks test drive as suggested, but got this message: we didn't find any companies for this account.
I can share some information about using the Profit and Loss report, TKrawford.
The Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) provides a summary of the income, expenses, and resulting net profit or loss for a specified period of time.
The option to add a column name for accounts receivable and cash on hand isn't an option in QBO. However, you can export the report to Excel and add the desired additional column from there.
You can check out this article for more details on managing your report: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Per an earlier suggestion, I tried to use QuickBooks test drive, but when I try to login I got an error message stating it could not find a company associated with my account. How can I use the test drive?
Utilizing our test drive is a great way to try the features and options you might not feel comfortable trying in your own QuickBooks Online. I'll make sure that you can explore and experiment all you like, TKrawford.

If the issue persists, open the link through a private window. Occasionally, the accumulated site data in the system get outdated or corrupted causing unexpected behaviors. Using this mode prevents internet files from being stored in the system. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
If that works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache and cookies to start over fresh. Switching to other supported web browsers is also a good alternative.
