I recently uploaded a transaction, and I'm trying to match it to my invoices. However, the transaction uploads with a 1969 date and I can't edit.

Modifying the date of your bank transactions is an essential part of ensuring accuracy in your records, Vasquez. I'd like to inform you that there's a way to do this in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and I'm here to show you how.
After uploading your bank transactions, it will go under the For Review tab so you can categorize or match it. To edit the date, you'll have to enable the Editable date field option in the bank feeds.

The advice does not work. Even after doing what you mention, the dates don't change and match to 1969.

Thank you for your efforts following the solution provided by my colleague JaeAnnC. I can help by adding more details on how to adjust the date. It seems there could be a setting problem causing the transactions to upload with the incorrect date of 1969 and preventing you from editing them.

If you still encountering an issue with a transaction date that cannot be edited directly in QuickBooks Online, you can delete or exclude it. From your CSV file correct the date and upload it again.
