Hi there, @info1236.
Thanks for posting to the Community.
Currently, we're unable to add a user who can create invoices but unable to view previous invoices or customer purchase history in QuickBooks Online.
Please know that I'm taking note of this one as your preference. I'd recommend visiting our blog site for more exciting feature updates and other product enhancements.
In the meantime, you can add a standard user who has a chance to handle limited access to your customers and sales.
The following will be the grant and disability, as illustrated below:
You can follow these steps:
Once the user received the message invitation and sign up as a standard user, it can then access customers and sales.
I've added a video article as your reference on how to add multiple users, delete, and change user type of access: Add, delete, or change user access.
Just in case you need to add an accountant user, you can check this video on how to invite them to your QuickBooks account: Invite or remove an accountant.
Feel free to hit the like button or drop a comment if you need further assistance. I'm always here to help. Have a great day!
You may need a 3rd app to do so.
I would like to see this added as well. Surely its easy for someone to just create and send the invoices but doesn't have access to what is outstanding!

I'm adding this article to further guide you in managing the growth of your business using QBO: QuickBooks Help Articles. It includes topics about data security, banking, and expenses, to name a few. You can click the + More topics button to view other selections.
Let me know in the comments below if you have other concerns about managing your business with QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
Agree with all the users here... Why can't you set up a feature so we can have users that can send invoices but not view all the sales and private info of the company (ie. you want employees to send invoices but not have access to all of your sales invoices).
Seems like a pretty basic feature and option.
Why don't you have this yet?
