New "updated" invoice layout does not support all the fields of my old layout.

How do I get my old layout back as the new "updated" layout does not have the fields I used in my old layout. When I try to do this with custom fields, it says have reached by "3" field limit. I don't want to upgrade. I just need my old invoice layout back. This is blocking and not able to invoice as is!

I understand if the new invoice and estimate experience have raised some concerns for you, @TexMex1

Currently, users with Simple Start and Essentials subscriptions are unable to return to the old layout. However, if you're using Plus and Advanced, you can do so on the Invoice and Estimate pages. Here's how:

  1. Go to + New.
  2. Select Invoice or Estimate.
  3. At the top right of the form, click Old Layout.

Please know that when switching to the old layout, you're unable to opt back into the new experiences.

I can see the importance of being able to go back to the old invoice experience. For now, I recommend sending our software engineers your valuable insight so they can consider your request in our future product upgrades. To do that, go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.

Moreover, QBO provides sufficient tools for creating professional-looking sales forms. This way, you can customize the layout and add specific information to your invoices.

Keep in touch if you have additional queries concerning the new invoice and estimate experience. I'm here to answer them for you. Take care.

Thanks for your response. However, for QBO to shove a new layout (which I did not ask for) on me without offering table stakes of what I have been using for 6+ years is unacceptable. An QBO wanting me to upgrade my subscription so that I can go back to what I was using before is just adding insult to injury.

I don't want to upgrade or forced to fork out more $ just for the sake of using a new "updated" layout.
