No estimates are being displayed for the year 2021

I can help you with finding these estimates for the year 2021, @Tridelta

Are you having an error when trying to access your estimates for 2021? That'll help us get the best resolution for the error you're having.

There are various ways to get a list of your estimates for 2021. You can choose to generate a report or go to the Sales menu.

You can run the Estimates by Customer report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to pull up your list of estimates within a specific date range.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and search for Estimates by Customer.
  2. Set the Report period and then select the Customize button and set the filter of this report that suits your needs.
  3. Click the Run report button.

You can also go to the All Sales tab from your Sales menu to check all your estimates for 2021. Check the following steps:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and then proceed to the All Sales tab.
  2. Click the Filter button.
  3. Set the Type to EstimatesStatus to All statusesDate to This year, and Customer to All
  4. Once done, click the Apply button. estimates.JPG

Refer to the following article for more information about estimates, running, and customizing the reports in QBO:

I also encourage you to read the following article for more information about our newest version of estimates in QBO: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Stay in touch if you need any further help in generating your estimates for 2021. Just let me know in the Reply section below. I'm always glad to help in any way I can. Keep safe and have a wonderful day!

No estimates are being displayed for the year 2021

I should have been more specific.

This is in regards to the iPhone app.

1. Open app

2. click menu

3. click estimates

4. only 2020 is displayed it used to display all estimates starting from the most recent down.

spoke with customer service this morning. Apparently this is by design

If I want to view 2021…well some of 2021 I need to then click the search icon select “this year” then I get some of the 2021 estimates that were generated. I then have to click status and try to cypher which estimate was labeled with what.

the bottom line is that the software people have turned a 4 step process into a 10 step process. I neither have the time nor the patients to deal with that.

freshbooks here I come

BTW the software used to open up with the menu screen that was changed awhile ago forcing the extra steps.

the software used to be easy to use but for some reason the designers have elected to make it more difficult and time consuming

no thank you
