Since your contractors weren't able to receive their 1099s. As a workaround, you can manually print or download it on your end and send it to them. Or you can let your contractors open their QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account to view and print on their end. Keep in mind, that only those contractor you invited and set up their own W9 have this account.
Also, I recommend contacting the QuickBooks Online Payroll Care Team. They will pull up your account in a safe environment and check the root cause of the issue. Here's how:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Go to Help (?).
- Select Contact Us.
- Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
