NOW when I create an invoice, there is an additional section that pops up! Help!

I understand how beneficial it would be to stop seeing this pop-up section when creating an invoice, @bexmg.

The section that appears in the right-side panel is likely linked to QuickBooks Online Payments. When you have an active Payments account, this section will automatically display during the invoice creation process. Its purpose is to provide quick access to customization options, particularly in the Payment options section.

Since it’s a built-in feature of the new invoice layout that is gradually being rolled out to all users, the option to disable this directly is currently unavailable.

This change has been met with mixed feedback from users, and you can also submit your own feedback to QuickBooks directly to let them know how you feel about the change. Here's how you can provide your feedback:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Select Feedback.
3. Please provide your input in the designated box, and explain how this feature would help in your business processes. Once done, click Next to submit.

While you can't remove it entirely, the only workaround is to click the X icon in the top right corner of the panel, which you have already done.

Thank you for your reply.  That is unfortunate that it isn't something that can be changed in settings, because it's a setback for me.  I don't understand why these things are "fixed" when they aren't "broken" to begin with.  It just makes for more work, and more steps.
