Other date formats

It would be really useful to have a date format that uses "MMM" - E.G. Jan, Feb, Mar.. We have US and EU clients, and can't use DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY without confusing half of them - but 02 Jan 2022 is easy to understand, even if you're used to Jan 2 2022.

Other date formats

Hi there, aquargna.

I understand having the ability to select a date format of "MMM" is important for your business to prevent confusion. QuickBooks followed the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard date format of DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY. Right now, your preferred format is currently unavailable.

I recommend submitting a product suggestion to our Product Development team through QuickBooks. Once approved, they may include it in the next product update.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your product suggestion.
  4. Once done, hit Next to submit.

Also, you can submit product requests using this link: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.

I'm always here to assist if you have further questions or concerns about the date format. Have a wonderful day!
