Our BCC Email that is listed is not showing up on invoices, why?

I can share an update about the BCC email missing on your invoices.

 

Our Support Team has recently tagged this as an ongoing issue with QuickBooks Online. They're already investigating the root cause of this unexpected hitch and are working to implement a solution.

 

While they do, I would recommend consulting our QuickBooks Online Care Team to have you added to our notification list of affected users. Once you're on the phone, you can request our phone representatives to add you to the investigation number INV-15606.

Our BCC Email that is listed is not showing up on invoices, why?

In Quickbooks Online, Our CC and Bcc email addresses in Account and Settings > Sales > Messages, do not receive their copies of the invoices we email to our customers.

I have sent test invoices directly to our addresses (as if they were customers) and we receive those just fine.  Is there a problem QB Online Account and Settings?  What can I do to get this fixed?

Our engineers are currently investigating a reported issue with invoices not being sent to CC and BCC email addresses in QBO, ahead4numbers. 

 

We've created a notification list for all affected users. Email communications will be immediately sent out as soon as we get this working again. Please give us a call for us to add you to the list. 

 

Please follow these steps to reach out to our phone support:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner of QuickBooks. 
  2. Enter a very short description of your concern, then click Let's talk
  3. Choose between Message an agent or Get a callback

Hi there, I have also found this a problem after trying to BCC myself on an invoice - I did not receive the invoice. And with my QBO version I cannot view any kind of "sent" invoice emails, only see status as "delivered". I am now worried as a number of my customers require their accounting department to be CC'd on invoices and now I have no way of telling if this has indeed worked other than asking directly which seems unprofessional. Additionally, one of my invoices is marked as "undelivered" saying an issues with "one of the recipients" but impossible to tell which one Here is the text: We couldn’t reach some of your customers. Double check the email address and try again. Resend invoice

I understand how important this is to you, @nina.

 

Recently, our Support Team identified this as an ongoing issue with QuickBooks Online. We have asked our engineers to look into this issue where you are emailing invoices out of QuickBooks Online, and your customers are not receiving them. We appreciate your patience as we continue to investigate this issue.

 

Meanwhile, you can download the invoice as a PDF and send it directly to the email address. Before doing so, check if you have the new or the old version of the invoice. 

 

Here is how to check the version:

 

  1. Go to + New.
  2. Choose Invoice.
  3. At the top left of the form, you will see “New” beside the word Invoice, which means you are using the new version.

 

Here is an article that will guide you through downloading the invoice with the old and new versions: Download and save invoices, other sales forms, and statements as PDF.

 

Once done, you can contact our Support team. This way, they can add you to the list of the affected users to receive updates about the investigation.
