Payment Method field in Receipts is blank

@Bryan_M "In creating a sales receipt transaction, even if you add information in the Payment Method field, it will not be included whenever you print or send it to your customer. This has been working as designed. "

 

Bryan, can I please ask why in the world this would be by design? The field is automatically included on the receipt, as it should be. Why would Quickbooks design it to BE BLANK ??

Payment Method field in Receipts is blank

To clarify, there are two different types of receipts in QBO: 1) a sales receipt and 2) a payment receipt.  For me, the payment method field works as intended on sales receipts:

However, it doesn't work as intended on payment receipts.  It should populate on a payment receipt as well.  I personally don't find it a big deal because payment receipts are not generally issued to customers and, if they are, it still shows the balance and payment amount.
