I got your back, @sarahnpinkley-gm.

Let’s link your bank deposit to your projects in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If your deposit is already in your bank account, we can attach this to your project by matching them. I’ll show you how:

  1. Go to the Projects menu in your QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  2. Select the project you want to create an invoice for.
  3. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  4. Select the For review tab.
  5. Look for the customer payment (deposit), select it, and click Find match.
  6. Adjust the date and search for the invoice, then check the boxes before the DATE column to link them. bank deposit.png
  7. Click Save.

Nonetheless, if the option to perform the steps outlined above is unavailable on your end, I suggest performing some browser troubleshooting steps. This way, we can clear the cache to eliminate them that can cause unexpected behavior while using the application. Also, you can utilize the other supported browsers to use QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, I added this article for your reference when categorizing and matching transactions and reconciling your account.

Let me know if there’s anything else that I can assist you with bank deposits. The Community always has your back. Stay safe!
